Does ACUTE CARE™ Skincare for Expression Lines work better on moisturized skin ?

Dr. Katie Rodan:

ACUTE CARE works best when applied to clean, dry skin.  Before applying the product, cleanse your face with Step 1 of your Regimen. Skin must be completely clean and dry. Avoid using any leave-on products, such as eye cream or moisturizer, which could create a barrier between the hyaluronic acid and peptide ingredients and the wrinkle, thereby preventing the product from working most effectively.

Once you’ve applied ACUTE CARE, proceed with steps 2 and 3 of your normal R+F Regimen, being careful to apply your toner, moisturizer and treatment to the surrounding skin around the areas you applied ACUTE CARE.

  1. I am new to the business. I want to address both pigmentation and anti aging. I was told to use both regimens of redefine and reverse, is that correct? And should I use reverse in the am and refine in the PM, or does it matter?

  2. I have just completed my first 10 Acute Care (Skincare for Expression lines) . Is this a continuing weekly regime? Or do I repeat it in intervals? What do you suggest?

  3. I recently started using the redefine and seem to notice wrinkles more I want the product to give results that I’m seeing so many others have am I doing something wrong or us it normal if you’ve just started the regime thank u

  4. Hi, I understand your concern as I am also allergic to sulfa drugs – antibiotics. However, sulfur is a non-metallic element (S) and is actually found in all the tissues of our bodies, our saliva and bile. You can’t be allergic to it or you would be allergic to yourself. 🙂 You are safe with sulfur in products.

  5. I noticed that the Unblemish Wash is a sulfur wash. I am allergic to sulfa drugs, will this affect me? THANKS!

  6. Is bucolic the same as butylene glycol. I have a friend that is allergic to glycolic and am wondering if she would react to R&F as well.

  7. I have a PC Customer who has a slight case of Rosacea and has been on the Soothe Regimen for almost 60 full days. The regimen is working and her redness has been reduced substantially. She is very keen on wanting to try the Redefine Regimen. Her skin outside of the Rosacea is very hardy (for lack of a better term) and is not sensitive to anything. Is there a good way to incorporate the two regimens and would she be able to try the roller?

  8. I love your suggestions and comments. I always wonder if it’s necessary to let one skin product dry before applying the next one? I’m never sure how long to wait until using the one after.

  9. If you are really concerned with many wrinkles and using the REVERSE regimen for sun damage and the AMP MD roller, can you also add the night renewing serum after step #3 of REVERSE regimen?

  10. Hi! I’m wondering if you use one of R+F’s regimens, get great results, do you continue to use that regimen forever? For example, if you get rid of your sun damage or brown spots, should you switch to something else? Thanks!
