How many times can I repeat the full REDEFINE Regimen in one day?

Dr. Kathy Fields: Overwashing your face can disrupt the skin’s delicate moisture barrier, leading to dryness and irritation. Skin may even produce more oil in an attempt to make up for lost moisture, creating a cycle of oil production and additional skin concerns. Ironically, water can also be very drying because it draws moisture out of the skin. Always rinse with lukewarm (not hot) water to help avoid stripping your skin of its natural moisturizing factors.

Using your Regimen twice a day is recommended—ideally, once in the morning and once before bedtime to ensure that the products are on your skin for at least six to eight hours. If you work out in the morning, use your Regimen afterwards. If you work out in the afternoon, use REDEFINE Eye Cloths to refresh the skin instead of cleansing again. In the evening, apply your REDEFINE Regimen for the second time daily, as directed.

  1. Hi, I got the redefine AMP it up system because I’m 54 years old and my wrinkles started to worry me. I’ve always been told I have great skin, to me is a little dry and all I’ve ever used on my skin it’s been a light moisturizer. I used the redefine at night and I also used the roller, in the morning I did the morning routine (no roller), but my face got red, itchy, tingly, very uncomfortable but I thought it was the product working on my skin and under. I didn’t use it the next day hoping it would go away but it didn’t, it’s been 7 days since I used it (just 2 times) and my skin is extremely dry (peeling) feels rough to the touch, itchy and still red. I never knew my skin was this sensitive. I forgot to tell you that I never ever exfoliated my face before, all my friends do it and love it, but because of my dry skin I was afraid to do it. Do you think the mask (exfoliation) was too much for me? Could I be allergic to an ingredient in the regimen? Everybody loves your products I want them to work for me too! I don’t want to send products back! How long should I wait until I try them again? I’m afraid to get the same reaction. Help please!!! 🙂 Thank you! Betty

  2. I started the redefine Thursday using the roller and all products as prescribed. I only rolled Thursday but continued using all products until sat morning. My face neck and chest has red bumps and really swollen. It hurts really bad. I did patch tests with all of the products and do t seem to have a reaction, but I’m doing the tests on inside of my arm. What can I do for my face?!

  3. I have been using the Redefine regimen for a few months. After about 6 hours of working at the hospital my face is dry and all wrinkled. The only way that seems to work better is if I use the night renewing serum in the morning and night? Can you use this product twice a day? Do you have a better suggestion?

  4. My mom is 77 and using the soothe regimen. It has helped smooth wrinkles around the mouth area. She loves the products but has stated that sometimes her face feels sticky after using soothe #2. What do you recommend to decrease stickiness?

    1. I use Soothe as well. I find #2 gives me “stickiness” if one of two things happens:
      1) I use too much #2 (it’s like my face wants just enough and not too much), or
      2) I didn’t wait enough time between #1 and #2. (ie: not waiting to for my face to dry completely after step #1).

Not sure if either of these is what your mom might be doing, but correcting either might help.
(not speaking on behalf of R+F, just simply a user).

  5. I have started using soothe with great results. My biggest issue is blepharitis. Very annoying ongoing issue for my eyes. Soothe is the only thing I have been able to use on my eyes to “soothe” them & minimize the flair ups. Interested in the eye cream next as my one kid is droopy. Any thoughts if this will aggravate the blepharitis? Thanks

  6. I have been using the Reverse regimen consistently with my SPF during the day for the Sun damage and age spots. I have noticed new ones have appeared. Is this normal and why?

  7. Hi this is great info, I am actually using the reverse, and the redefine night serum, I still see wrinkles and some light brown still on my face..why is this? What can I do? What does the Night serum really do?

    1. How long have you been using the Reverse regimen? It can take time to see results- remember your skin shows years of life it will take time to correct any damage. The Night Renewing Serum has retinal and silk peptides- it addresses fine lines and wrinkles particularly. I encourage you to talk with your consultant if you have more questions about your needs!
